About Me

This is another totally made-up FAQ, except about me instead of about the blog.

What did you study in school?
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in English and French, and a Master's of Library and Information Science. I intend to get a PhD in Linguistics as soon as humanly possible.

What is your favorite library classification?
Though I typically prefer Dewey Decimal as a system, I can't help but be amused that the Library of Congress classification for the Bible is the section that starts with BS. (I'm only a little bit sorry if that offends anyone, because you should be able to laugh at yourself, so relax.)

What is your favorite French word?
That's really hard, because there are so many awesome French words. Seriously, if anyone ever has to give me bad news, I want it in French; it sounds much nicer. I do have two favorite French quotes, however: "Jusqu'ici, tout va bien" and "La plus perdue de toutes les journees est celle ou on n'a pas ri." (The second one is missing two accent marks... I will figure out how to add them without making funky characters in the text and fix this soon.)

What is your favorite book?
"Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, and "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett are tied for first place in my heart.

Where do you live?
Virginia Beach. I've lived here my entire life, and for all it's faults, I do love it. Though I'm working on finding a job in Fairfax or DC so I can move up there.

What do you always, always, ALWAYS have on your person?
My cell phone. I figure, as long as I keep it reasonably charged and have it with me, I can call someone to take care of getting anything else I need.
